Maggie Moo and Michonne are our 2 spokeskitties.  These sisters came from a shelter in TN and have moderate     CH.  They are not in pain or suffering, simply differently enabled.  They wobble when they get excited!

Cerebral Hypoplasia, CH, is a disorder not a disease.  It is not contagious.  Basically these girls have the kitty version of cerebral palsy because while their brain was developing, either in the womb or shortly after birth they were exposed to a high fever typically PanLeuk.  The portion of their brain that controls motor function as a result is underdeveloped which causes them to wobble when they are overly happy or excited.

Maggie Moo and Michonne accompany us to adoption events so that we can raise awareness for Special Needs Kitties and educate the public that these kitties can have full and happy lives in the right hands.

Please see our Resources Section for more information on Cerebral Hypoplasia (CH).

Special Kitties Looking For A Home

A comprehensive adoption process is required for each of these kitties due to their special needs in order to ensure they end up being adopted into a home equipped to handle their needs.  Time, Love and Patience are a major requirement when adopting a special needs kitty.
